Legal
The fine print: straightforward, fair, and written to protect both of us.
Top Notch Home Inspections is owned and operated by Drew Cline ("I", "me", or "my"). By engaging me for a home inspection, you ("Client", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
I provide professional home inspection services across Winston-Salem, Lexington, and the Piedmont Triad, including pre-purchase home inspections, seller’s inspections, new construction inspections, maintenance inspections, and radon testing.
Your report is prepared for you as the client and covers the conditions observed on the day of the inspection. Reports include photographs and plain-language explanations, and are typically delivered within 24 to 48 hours. You are welcome to attend the inspection and to contact me with questions once you have read the report.
Scheduling: Inspections are scheduled in advance and are subject to availability. Call or text (336) 403-7074 to arrange one.
Fees: The fee is quoted for your specific property before the inspection is scheduled and is confirmed with you in advance.
Payment: Payment is due at the time of inspection unless we agree otherwise in advance. I accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, cash, check, and CashApp.
Cancellation: Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
A home inspection has inherent limits. I do not inspect:
Where a condition falls outside what a visual inspection can determine, I will say so in the report and recommend evaluation by the appropriate specialist.
I deliver a written report promptly after the inspection is complete. Reports are provided digitally and are for the exclusive use of the client who engaged me.
Reports may not be transferred, assigned, or provided to third parties without my written consent. Report follow-up by phone is included at no additional charge.
My liability is limited to the fee paid for the inspection.
I am not responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of unreported defects or deficiencies, whether current or arising in the future.
I may recommend further evaluation by a qualified specialist for specific concerns. It is your responsibility to follow up on those recommendations before completing a real estate transaction.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of North Carolina.
Top Notch Home Inspections is owned and operated by Drew Cline, a licensed and insured home inspector serving the Winston-Salem and Piedmont Triad area for the past 8 years.
